The Biblical Call to Obedience asks for a radical response, a response which involves great risks.  The recurring theme of sermons included in this book is that of Christian obedience, unafraid, uncompromising and rooted in the biblical faith.  The sermons come the South African situation of apartheid, but that situation, while tragic realities of our day, is also symbolic of the political and social situations in many parts of the world.  Walking on Thorns is the moving witness to the faith of the Bible; it is also the personal testimony of the one who tries to live the faith and is prepared to pay the price.
