LEON MORRIS retired as Principal of Ridley College, 
Melbourne, Australia, in 1979. A widely-acclaimed expert on the extensive literature on his theme, he has written several books on the subject of the cross, including The Apostolic Preaching of the Cross and The Cross in the New Testament.
